Default Summoned Creatures In Party Screen?

Did a search and checked the sticky, and didn't find anything right away, so I apologize if someone has said this already. Since all these new summoning stones have been added, I think it's about due time to add these creatures to the party screen. It's especialy annoying when you're a monk and have to click over a whole mob to find your summoned creature to throw a seed on it or what have you to keep it from dying. I just think it would make a lot more sense and be a relevent thing to do.
Thanks,

For a moment, I was thinking minions and the like. But, yeah, something that puts the creatures in the "Allies" part of the Party Window would be very beneficial. The tab can be collapsed or expanded to suit each person's needs and to avoid clutter, but would also provide Healers a way to quickly target the needed ally who needs healing.

Not a bad idea, actually.

And yea I didn't clarify, by party screen, I meant under the allies screen just like a pet would be or an npc during a quest or mission.

And while it, add hotkeys for target next/previous summoned creature. This includes minions and spirits as well.

It would be nice to have them under Allies or Summons in the Party panel.

It would be even nicer if all Minions, Spirits and summonend creatures in general appeared under a "Summons" collapsible section in the Party panel.

Yet another thing to add to the party list. Minions, Spirits, Stones. Yay! Just make it collapsable and I'm good. I don't want to look at my minion list go from 8 to 0 to 8 to 0 to 8 over and over in mina-seconds when vanquishing with a MB.

I don't think minions and spirits are really too important. How many monks actually take the time to heal a minion or spirits. Most builds are based are spirits and minions dying anyways. Life spirit, death nova...

Summoning Sickness should stay.

The OP would be a great addition and goes right up there with minion tabs, tabs for allies not currently listed, and seeing other teams in AB.

if your monk cant watch the battlefield, click on the summoned thing and heal it, he shouldnt be monking.

how else do you plan to heal your npcs in a gvg =\

just yell at your monks to stop red bar camping and watch the battlefield.

Since when do summoning stones and gvg have something in common? PvE + PvP = whole new ball game

I might be wrong on this, but I don't think the Hero monks heal NPCs when they are not in your party (minions and spirits ARE in your party, just not listed).

In other words, I don't think hero monks heal the summoning creatures. As such, the only way to heal them without a human monk is to macro, and when you're, say, a ranger with an interrupt build, you have to keep your eye on the enemy's skill usage to interrupt the powerful skills (Word of Healing, Searing Flames in HM, etc.) and you don't have as much time to keep an eye on your summoned creature.

obviously you missed the point where i said, if your monk cant read the battlefield, he shouldnt be monking

this is common sense for pvp or pve numbnuts. obviously you dont pvp.

as for hero monks, who uses those anyways? all hero healers are n/rts now. and if there is a human monk there isnt a question he should know how to monk properly.

knowing which minion is about to die and easy target them is good for necros

Well, most people use hero monks. N/Rt heroes can NOT go prot, just heal.

And the same thing stands for N/Rt healers. Unless macro, I see no healing on their part. Mechanics of AI between monk heroes and any other profession hero is the same with healing spells. Monk heroes would actually be more observant than the other heroes, if there was a difference.

I also just went out and noticed the Golem receive no healing from Mhenlo or Tahlkora. Not enough to call empirical, but enough to add as support to the purpose of this thread, until proven otherwise. And macro doesn't count has a hero healing a summoned creature.

I havent tried any of the summoning stones yet, and after reading this, im glad I havent. I never really thought about the healing process for them, but now you have given me something to think about. If we can have a Dwarven ghost hero in the party screen so a monk can heal it, then it stands to reason that a summoned creature should have the same priority.
As for Stupid Shizno comments on the subject, no not all PvE healers are N?Rt. I like to keep my necro heros set to gather an army rather then heal.
I do believe by giving minions a spot on the party screen is a little much. They die so quickly anyway, and as for myself, i prefer the minions to die off quickly for the energy boosts anyway.
I for one thank you for bringing this issue to our attention before going out and crafting a bunch of the new but different summons.

necro/rt cant prot? no shit?!? they arnt monks, prots are a monk speciality

now if you mean to mitigate damage, which is what a prot spell does. then yes a rt can do that. obviously you never heard of weapon of warding, which is the kickass version of guardian.

then you got lame scrub pve shit as union, shelter.

and your not suppose to rely on these new stones, its just something to waste skill points and cash on. it has no dire effect on gameplay, if it dies you dont fail mission, which is why its not in the party menu.
